Experimental Evaluation of Effect Factors on Seismic Performance of Concrete Columns Reinforced with HTRB630 High-Strength Steel Bars

چکیده
Abstract HTRB630 steel bar is a new type of high-strength bars. To study the seismic performance and promote application concrete columns reinforced with bars, pseudo-static test 10 bars 3 HRB400 was carried out. Test specimens were divided into five categories according to grade, reinforcement strength, degree confinement. The effect strength (C45 C60), axial load ratio (0.1 0.25), equal substitution longitudinal reinforcements (HTRB630 HRB400), volume stirrups confined HRB400) on are analyzed discussed from failure mode, hysteresis loops, skeleton curves, lateral ductility, energy dissipation capacity, stiffness degradation. mode each specimen bending failure. Reducing lo or increasing reinforcements, could be improved. C60 can improve columns. column slightly increased, ductility capacity reduced, degradation more gradual, coefficient greater than 0.94, but still met requirements code for design buildings (GB50011-2010).

Seismic Behavior of Steel Reinforced Concrete Beam-Columns and Frames
The ability to perform accurate nonlinear simulations is a key component in the assessment of the behavior of seismic force resisting systems. A three-dimensional distributed plasticity formulation for composite beam-columns suitable for nonlinear static and dynamic analyses of composite seismic force resisting systems has been developed. New uniaxial constitutive relations are developed for th...
متن کاملExperimental Study on Seismic Performance of Reinforced Concrete Frame Columns Supported with Post-build Wing Walls
Abstract: Six specimens of concrete frame columns reinforced by post-build wing walls on the opposite faces were designed and fabricated to investigate their seismic performance. Axial compression ratio was considered as the critical factor and divided into 0.31, 0.36, and 0.40 before reinforcement. HRB400 steel grade was used to the longitudinal bar and the ratio of longitudinal reinforcement ...
متن کاملExperimental Study of the Seismic Performance of L-Shaped Columns with 500 MPa Steel Bars
Based on tests on six L-shaped RC columns with 500 MPa steel bars, the effect of axial compression ratios and stirrup spacing on failure mode, bearing capacity, displacement, and curvature ductility of the specimens is investigated. Test results show that specimens with lower axial load and large stirrup characteristic value (larger than about 0.35) are better at ductility and seismic performan...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Seismic Response of Reinforced Concrete Columns
There are a large number of reinforced concrete buildings in seismically active areas of the world that are not built in accordance with modern seismic design provisions such as those published by American Concrete Institution ([ACI] Committee 318, 2008). In the United States and other parts of the developed world, these buildings were constructed between 1930s to mid 1970s according to the bui...
